Our henna artists are very talented, and can do anything from the modern "tattoo motif" style of henna for busy events, to the beautiful "bridal henna" style where the entire hand and forearm (or foot and calf) are covered with intricate and gorgeous designs.
HENNA / MEHNDI
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. After the henna artist applies the henna paste, it will take approximately 15-30 minutes to dry (depending on the humidity and temperature). DO NOT touch the paste during this time. It is very susceptible to smearing until it dries.
2. After it dries, leave the paste on the skin for a minimum of two hours. Four hours will give you a darker stain that lasts longer. It is safe to even leave the henna on until it falls off on its own.
3. When you are ready to remove the dried paste (after the minimum two hours), simply rub/scrape it off the skin. If you scrape it off the skin, rather than washing it off, the oils can stay on the skin longer and give you a deeper, longer-lasting stain. However, it can also be washed off.
4. To maintain the stain as long as possible, you want to keep the skin from exfoliating as long as possible. To help that, apply a good quality lotion to the area at least once a day.
5. To minimize exfoliation, do not use a washcloth or loofa on the tattoo. Wash it with a bare, soapy hand, and do not rub the area with a towel to dry it. Instead, pat it dry carefully with the towel.
6. While there is no way to remove the henna stain because the natural dyes in the mix have actually colored several layers of skin, using a loofa to exfoliate will help remove the colored layers of skin more quickly. Also, swimming in chlorinated water (pool or hot tub) will help lighten (and possibly even completely remove) the stain, because the chlorine in those pools is a natural bleaching agent. DO NOT APPLY BLEACH TO YOUR SKIN TO REMOVE THE TATTOO!
We do many corporate and school events where speed is a necessity, so we have a special selection of fast designs that get the crowd through quickly!
Our goal is always to help you make your event the best it can be, and our beautiful henna will last for 1-4 weeks, helping your guests remember the event for a long time to come! Scroll down below the photos for Care Instructions.

WE DO NOT USE DANGEROUS "BLACK HENNA"!!!
"Black henna" is not really henna. It is usually either just black hair dye, or black hair dye mixed with henna. It is VERY dangerous, and can cause:
- Burns and blisters
- Permanent scarring
- Increased cancer risk
- Sensitivity to many chemicals used in lotions (especially sunscreens) and other personal care products
PLEASE DO NOT GET A BLACK HENNA TATTOO! Just because you see people doing them at malls or beaches where there are lots of people and they are out in public, doesn't mean they are safe!!!
